Grand Canyon

Torin got to see the Grand Canyon this weekend.  Well, okay, he pretty much slept through it...but mom and dad had fun taking turns snapping photos with him. 

My First Snow

Living in southern Arizona we thought we'd have to wait until Christmas to see snow. Friday we left for the Grand Canyon, and on the way Torin got to see snow for the first time (as you can tell, he is thrilled and amazed...).  The top picture was taken shortly after we watched a herd of elk run by...very cool.  

Thanksgiving Day

We have a lot to be thankful for this year!

On Thanksgiving Day we had dinner with Pete and Juliet, their kids Layne and Sylvie (above), and Juliet's parents.  Everyone enjoyed a great meal even though, right on que, Torin started crying just as everyone sat down to dinner...maybe he wanted some turkey?  Instead,  Torin had milk... lots of milk.

Auntie Jamee, uncle Jay, and Dax came for a visit. As you can see, Dax and Torin hit it off right away...

Chris came to visit- here he is meeting little Torin.

Torin's Takuma and Dadu came for a visit.  They took turns holding Torin and cooking amazing Indian food to energize the sleep-deprived parents.
